Dog Licensing:
All dogs over 6 months old, living in Pohatcong Township, must have a current rabies vaccination and be licensed per Pohatcong Township Municipal Ordinance 89-17.
Licenses are issued Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 - 3:00 at the Police Department.
Licensing Fees: $9.00 for neutered - $12.00 for non-neutered.
Dog Licenses are renewed each year during the month of January. In order to get a license, proof of the rabies vaccination, valid through October 31 of the licensing year, must be provided. After February 28 a late fee of $5.00 per month will be assessed when you renew a license. (New dogs to the township will not be accessed late fees.)
