Pohatcong Economic Development Commission (PEDAC) News:

The Township’s Economic Development Advisory Commission members have been working together since the commission’s inaugural meeting in February 2015, exploring ways to support and assist township businesses. The commission developed a business survey to ascertain what issues businesses face so that the PEDAC can provide responsive, supportive assistance.

It is noteworthy that Pohatcong is the first municipality Warren County to develop a survey: PEDAC Chairman Jay Cronce – at Warren County’s EDAC request – appeared at the county meeting in September to acquaint other county EDACs with Pohatcong’s survey, and to share what the experiences have been in the commission conducting the survey. Township businesses can anticipate to be contacted by PEDAC members as they continue their efforts to support them. PEDAC meetings are held at the municipal building monthly on the 2nd Monday at 7:00 PM.
